Yes. After your trial (or anytime), you can stay on Free forever — one provider, the dashboard, and a monthly summary email. No card and no Scout threshold alerts (those stay on Solo/Team so Free acquires without replacing paid). Upgrade anytime for multi-provider sync, daily alerts, model recommendations, and spike investigation.
What counts as a 'member'?
Anyone with login access to view the shared dashboard. Members have read-only access; only the owner can add keys or sync.
Can I switch from Solo to Team later?
Yes — upgrade anytime from Settings. Your data, connections, and history carry over.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your dashboard switches to read-only — you can still see your spend history but not add keys or sync. Your data is preserved for 30 days. Upgrade anytime to pick up exactly where you left off, or switch to the free forever plan for limited ongoing access.
Can Scout post alerts to Slack, Teams, or Discord?
Yes — paste any incoming webhook URL in the Alerts tab. Scout posts the same alert there alongside the email. Works with Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Make.com, Zapier, IFTTT, Pipedream, and any service that accepts an incoming webhook.
Does Scout predict my end-of-month spend?
Yes. The dashboard projects your month-end total by linear extrapolation from your current spend rate. Most useful from day 5 onwards — before then the trend has too little signal. It also flags anomaly spikes when a single day runs unusually high vs. your recent average. Scout syncs once daily (automatically) or on demand via the Sync button — for the freshest possible numbers, hit Sync manually anytime.
Can Scout tell me which models are wasting my budget?
Yes — this is Scout's highest-value feature. Based on your actual usage over the last 30 days, Scout estimates how much you could save by switching each model to the next-cheapest equivalent (e.g. gpt-4o → gpt-4o-mini saves most users 80–90%). Shown as a projected dollar figure — test on a sample before switching production, since quality varies by use case.
I saw a spend spike. Can Scout explain it?
Yes. Click any day on the Spend Analysis calendar → "What caused this?" — Scout shows a per-model breakdown comparing that day against the rolling 7-day average so you can see which model drove the spike and by how much.
What if my payment fails?
We email you immediately and show a warning in the dashboard. You have 3 days to update your billing details before the dashboard switches to read-only. Your data is never deleted during this window.
What is your refund policy?
Full refund within 7 days of your first payment that grants Paid Solo/Team access (the free trial does not count). That window does not restart on later renewals or repurchase. Stripe/Dodo: Settings → Billing (self-serve). Razorpay (INR): Settings → Billing → Request a refund review, or email legal@trytokka.com from your account email, within that window. After that window: no cash refund for unused days or unused months — including mid-year on annual plans (no proration, no partial refund). Stripe/Dodo: cancel at period end to stop renewal; you keep access until the period you already paid for ends. Razorpay: access ends on the prepaid end date — do not repurchase to stop. EEA/UK customers also get a 14-day statutory withdrawal right from first paid charge.
How do INR (₹) payments work?
INR via Razorpay is a one-time charge for the period (monthly or annual) — not a recurring subscription. The listed ₹ price is what you pay at checkout; TryTokka does not add a separate GST line in checkout. When the period ends, the dashboard becomes read-only until you repurchase. No cancel-renewal button — simply do not repurchase. Refunds within 7 days of first payment (or 14 days if you signed up from the EEA/UK): email legal@trytokka.com.
Do prices include tax / GST?
The prices on this page are the checkout totals we charge for that plan and currency. INR (Razorpay/UPI): listed ₹ only — no extra GST line added by TryTokka at checkout. International via Dodo: Dodo is Merchant of Record and may show VAT/sales tax on their invoice based on your location. Stripe checkout charges the listed USD plan price in our app (Stripe Tax is not enabled in-app).
What type of API key do I need for OpenAI?
An Admin / organization API key (starts with sk-admin-...), not a project or user key (sk-...), because usage figures are only readable with an admin credential. Create one at platform.openai.com → Settings → Organization → Admin keys, and set Permissions to Read only. That matters: an admin key with full permissions can manage projects, members and other keys, whereas a read-only one can do nothing but read — which is all TryTokka needs for the single usage endpoint it calls. Other providers (Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter, Azure, Bedrock, Cursor) use their standard API or billing keys.
Do you offer SSO, SLAs, or more than 5 seats?
Team is built for indie devs and small startups — up to 5 members with shared read-only access. For larger seat packs, SSO, invoicing, or custom terms, email legal@trytokka.com and we will reply case by case.
How fast are Scout alerts?
Scout is a daily monitor on free hosting: it syncs once per day automatically and whenever you click Sync now. Threshold emails and webhooks fire after that sync — usually within about 24 hours, not the moment an agent call completes. Scout does not revoke keys or stop provider traffic. For overnight agent loops, use a verified kill switch — rate-limit or rotate keys, manage prepaid balance carefully, or put enforcement in your own gateway/middleware.
OpenAI already has spend limits built in. Why do I need this?
OpenAI's project/org spend alerts are notification tools (email when a threshold is hit) — do not assume they hard-stop API traffic. Scout is a separate multi-provider monitor: after each sync, it emails you when your combined spend across Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter, Azure, Bedrock, Cursor, and OpenAI is over the threshold you set (usually within ~24h, or after Sync now).
