Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using TryTokka, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and TryTokka.

2. What TryTokka Does

TryTokka is an AI API spend monitoring tool. We connect to AI provider APIs using credentials you supply, fetch your usage data, and display it in a dashboard. We send email alerts when your spend crosses a threshold you configure.

3. Subscription & Billing

  • Trial: 7-day free trial, no credit card required. Full access to all features.
  • Solo: $9/month or $79/year (USD) via Stripe. ₹749/month or ₹6,249/year (INR) via Razorpay.
  • Team: $29/month or $249/year (USD). Up to 5 members on one subscription.
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing (Stripe/Razorpay portal). Access continues until the end of your current paid period. No refunds for unused time in a billing period, except where required by law or as stated in our Refund Policy below.
  • Trial expiry: When the 7-day trial ends without a paid plan, your dashboard becomes read-only. You can still view spend data; you cannot add keys, sync, or edit settings until you upgrade.
  • Failed payments: If a renewal charge fails, we email you and show an in-app warning. You have 3 days to update your payment method while keeping full access. After that, the dashboard becomes read-only until payment succeeds or you resubscribe.
  • Data retention: After trial expiry or subscription cancellation, your data is preserved in read-only mode for 30 days so you can export or resubscribe. We may delete data after that period if the account is not upgraded.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights in your country (including EU/UK withdrawal rights where applicable). Where local law gives you a longer refund or cancellation right, that law applies.

4. Refund Policy

First payment guarantee: We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first paid charge if TryTokka doesn't work as described on our site. Email legal@trytokka.com from your account email with your reason. No lengthy forms required within that window.

Renewals & mid-cycle cancellation: Monthly and annual plans are non-refundable for partial periods after the 7-day first-payment window, except where your local law requires otherwise. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the period you already paid for ends.

India: Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days, in line with RBI and Razorpay guidelines.

EU/UK consumers: If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory 14-day right to cancel certain distance contracts. Because TryTokka is a digital service that begins immediately, you acknowledge that the service starts upon subscription and you may lose the withdrawal right once full performance has begun — unless your local law provides otherwise. 5. API Keys — Your Responsibility

Important: Read this section carefully.

You supply API keys from third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). These keys grant access to your accounts at those providers, including the ability to incur charges.

You are responsible for:

  • The security and management of your API keys
  • Any charges incurred at AI providers through your keys
  • Reviewing your AI provider accounts for unauthorised usage
  • Revoking and replacing keys if you suspect compromise

We strongly recommend creating dedicated, minimum-permission API keys just for TryTokka (read-only usage access where possible), rather than using your primary API keys.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use TryTokka for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or exploit our encryption or security measures
  • Share your account with others
  • Submit false, misleading, or others' API keys
  • Attempt to access other users' data

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. AI provider API changes may temporarily break data sync. We will notify active users of planned maintenance by email.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of TryTokka is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TryTokka is provided “as is”. We are not liable for:

  • AI provider charges incurred through your API keys
  • Inaccuracies in reported spend data (provider APIs may have delays)
  • Loss of data due to account deletion or trial expiry
  • Service interruptions beyond our reasonable control

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India for users in India, and the laws of the United States (Delaware) for all other users, without regard to conflict of law principles.
